Sellier & Bellot primers

I purchase some Sellier & Bellot large rifle primers to try, I was wondering if anyone has used them, if they are mild or hot and if they are a decent primer. Thanks!

Don't know about the primers but I shoot S&B factory loads in both my 6.5x55 and my 9.3x62 and it is good ammo so I'm guessing the primers would be good as well. I'd think they would be on the line of Hornady or CCI?

I've found them to be a good bit on the hard side. Even harder than CCI's. Had a few lighter striking bolts that just wouldn't set off S&B's reliably at all. Also found some inconsistencies in size. Some would seat fine while a few I would damn near crush trying to seat them.

Thanks, I will work some loads up.
