I use Serra 85gr. HPBT game kings over a load of IMR 4350. I haven't shot coyote as far away as you want to but those with in 150 yards I've shot have only one tiny hole to sew. Shot one behind the left ear angling toward the right eye at a range finder 83 yards that popped both eye balls out and turned the insides of the skull to mush.

I agree with allyyooper.. I have yet to find a .243 that didn't shoot the 85 gr HPBT very well. I too use IMR 4350 powder with 9 1/2 Rem. primers. All my .243 cal rifles, in cluding my .243 AI just love 'em.. As far as pelt damage, the groundhogs I've shot have been mostly in & out, just a little bigger on the "out" side...
