Thanks RR. I'm not really looking for a BT, but I found they make 115 grain Accubonds. So I'll give one of them a try if TSX don't work out.

keep impact velocities on bone (shoulder shots) below 3200 fps you will not see a difference between the BT and the accubond except the price you pay for them.

I am going to try a new powder (RL 25) and keep the same specs as I used with the
H1000. We will see what happens.

The picture of the grouping I posted on the 1st thread measured in at .997''. Since I found new updated info for H1000 I am continuing with that powder for now. Hopefully weather will be clear tomorrow morning for range time.

Alright! Here it is as I found the sweet spot for my 257 Weatherby Mag. 68.5 grains of H1000, WBY Brass, WLRM primer, 115 TSX. I also tested 69 and 69.5 grains, they seemed to do around 1-1.5 inch and to note these 3 loads were pretty hot I must say, at least for my rifle but the 69 and 69.5 were a bit hotter. Which may contribute to accuracy issue? No pressure signs on brass. This is a 3 shot group at 100 yards, as I shot 2 three round groups and they almost shot the same so I'd figure 1 picture should suffice. I'm glad I found that this combo worked.
