I'm shooting hornady 175gr flex tips out of 24 inch barrel.cant find any info on ballistics for this load except box that says mv 2900 fps.anyone know what max point blank range with this load would be with 3 or 4 inch above/ below line of sight?this is an ammo that hornady has suspended making at this time..thanks.

I can't find 175gr Hornady bullets in .358 to begin with!? The data I can find is for 180gr bullets, and none of them break the 2800 fps mark from a 24" barrel, I'd be a little suspicious of something that says "2900."

Assuming the 180 gr FTX has a similar BC as the 180 gr SSP bullet, velocity of 2900, max 4" high/low, and scope height 1.5", the MPBR is about 275 yds.

I did not see a 180 FTX on Hornady's site. I'd be tempted to use their 200 gr FTX anyway.
