Good Reloading Manual?

Another option, depending on what cartridge you load for is to look at retailers for cartridge specific load manuals. Not all cartridges are available in print like this, but many common cartridges are. These books are a conglomeration of load data from different powder and bullet manufacturers (often a photocopy of their respective manual pages). Saves a lot of money on manuals, and has a one stop shop for your given cartridge.
I have several manuals. Usually my method is to buy the manual from the bullet manufacturer I am using and find a powder I like for the load that way. When I reload a new load, I start by selecting the proper bullet(s) for my use, then find a powder that spits it fast and accurate. So I start bullet first, then let the powder find its way out.

It seems like a great idea but the one that I bought was just bad photocopies in a spiral binder. Perhaps there are better quality ones available and I just got a lemon.

I have them for .30-06, 223rem, 308win, 45acp, and 9mm, never noticed anything that I can't read just fine. Yeah, they're just a spiral binding of basically photocopies, but they're handy. Maybe yours was a lower quality copy?

I think it cost about $7 - $10. The print on the pages was faded and fuzzy. The pages were copied a bit crooked (20 degrees or so). They must have had a bad day at the print shop!
