270 brass: Hornady v Winchester

270 brass: Hornady v Winchester
Anyone have any suggestions of which brand of 270 brass I should buy? I have a few hundred Federal casings that I accumulated when I first got my 270 because that was before I reloaded and federal ammo was cheap and readily available for target practice at the time. They have a few firings but I have not had any issues yet. However, I decided I'd like to have some quality cases that I can load up and set aside for my hunting trips. Anyway, what brand of brass do y'all recommend?

Differenrt cases will give different pressures and possibly different point of impact. They will also require that you work up to your desired load. I've never had great luck with Federal brass but do not feel that Winchester or Hornady would be an improvement.

I also prefer Winchester brass for most of my loads. I have some Norma and Nosler brass I also like, but the added cost really isn't all that necessary 99% of the time...I also have a great deal of Federal brass and have never had any issues with it.
Hell if RR recommend Winchester brass, that's all the endorsement one needs in my opinion!

that's my pick of the choices the OP gave, even at the same price I would pick it over nosler from my experience with it. Remington isn't bad brass but doesn't hold up quite as good as win. norma is great brass, lapua is the best there is. for 223 lake city is almost as good as lapua.
