10mm loads, preferred powder and bullet weight.

I will be starting to load for my new 10mm and am wanting to know what everyone else is finding out works for their 10's. I am not new to reloading by no means, just the 10 is a new toy for me. Thanks.

Well...the 40s&w is kina close to the 10. I use Unique (I've a lot of it, no reason to switch), though other popular ones that'd come up might include 231, WSF and Bullseye, amongst several others. I just load plinking ammo in the 40, which is either plated or lead in the 135-180gr range. Not a lotta difference across the board for what I want out of it.

like the previous post the 40 S&W is close to the 10mm. As for powder I like AA#2 and 180 gr bullets.

I agree with both that the 10mm is the 40 on steriods. I have about 1/2 a 5gal bucket loaded up with 175grn handcast, wheelweights and 5% tin antimony, lee mold, over 231/HP38 now. Have about 10lbs of the stuff. Use it in my 45's as well. Shoot great!!! Was just more or less looking if someone loads something different than what I was looking at for something new to try. Appreciate the replys already.
