The proof is that I did research it...and the ONLY "Major" manufacturer I could find not currently selling rifles chambered in WSM calibers was Ruger and Marlin...proofs in the research...these rifles are in deed popular and selling and as far as I can see on this thread, you are the ONLY one saying otherwise (where are he people backing you up?). As you said, proof is in the research...less popular doesn't mean "bad"...my 257 Roberts AI is certainly less popular, but certainly worthy...popularity doesn't fill a freezer and my 270WSM has consistently put between 5 and 10 deer in my freezer every year for the past 5 years along with 2 elk in the last 2 years...

I've had good results loading our 300 WSM using H4350 and RL19 along with 165 gr. Abonds. The best accuracy was with the RL19, but not by much. Both are very good.
