Powder trickling

Anybody try running ball powder through there trickler? Was having pretty good luck trickling stick powder (H4350) & wondered how ball powders would work. Starting to look @ H414 for 160 tsx in my 338 if H4895 doesn't meet my needs.

I have used Winchester 296, 748, and 760 for years. All ball powders. Never a problem.

Ball powders measure so acuratly thru my RCBS powder measure I seldom find the need to use the trickler. Extruded powders yes I use the trickler.

Goatbrother,

Sounds like the RCBS powder measures a good way to go. Will it throw within 1/2 a grain, or so with ball powder?

It throws ball and flake powder to 0.1 grain.
