driftrider,
IMHO, the Nosler Ballistic Tips in 55 grains give me outstanding accuracy in my .22-250. The rest of the package is Winchester brass, H-Varget powder and CCI BR2 primers. Usually I' m not completely happy the accuracy of most rifles. That is not the case with this .22-250. Good luck.[&:]

hey BB30-06,I' ve also been working with a Varget load in the 22-250 with Winchester brass and BR2 primers only with a 50grain V-Max.What powder charge are you using?Preparing to play with the 55grain next and would like to hear what has given you the best accuracy.I have found 36.5-37 grains give the best results with the fifties although this is a heavy load and should be worked up to slowly while checking for pressure signs along the way.

woodseye,
In my .22-250 I use 36.5 grains of H-Varget. It is a dandy. I' ve tried Varget in several different cartridges and it seems as if a max, or near max, loads give the best accuracy. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Good luck.[&:]
