I don't know if you're talking about a single flat of 100 primers or a brick of 1000. Either way, is taking the chance you'd possibly screw up your rifle or worse worth $4 or $40?
I'd trade the primers to someone you know who loads with the primers you bought. Otherwise, look for pistol to buy that you always wanted that loads with large pistol primers.
