Barnes bullet expansion
Got a quick question for all your deer hunters that use Barnes bullets, How well does the TSX 150-168gr perform on whitetails at ranges from 50-150 yards using a 308 with mild to moderate reloads? does the bullet expand like a lead bullet? Had mixed experince with this bullet last year. It seems very accurate, what are your thoughts

Do you just want to spend a lot of money on a bullet? I've owned three 308's and shot 165gr Hornady Interlocks in them. Very accurate, don't hit a shoulder or heavy bone and that's as good as it gets for over half the cost. I have used Hornady's for a lot of years and always lean toward them but, I would encourage you to try Speer Hot Cores, Sierra Pro Hunters and Nosler BT.
Do this and neither the deer or you will know the difference in bullets. Well you might as you'll save a bunch on bullet's!
