Default What powder you finding best results in .308?

I just bought the Savage Model 10 BAS in 308 and am just curious what everyone else is using in their 308 rifles these days? I have a 308 pistol that I shoot using Accurate Powders Reloader with GREAT results!!!!! Sub MOA at 100yds.
Now am playing with my Savage. I will be neck sizing after the first initial full length sizing firing to size the brass to chamber and sorting by manufactor and weight per case. Just nosey.

Default 308 Powder?

Each rifle has its preference but I have never found a 308 that would not shoot acceptably with Varget or RL15. As mentioned above IMR4064 is worth trying.
GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!

Best results for me have been from IMR 4895. It has consistently preformed well in all 3 of my .308's (Savage 99, Winchester 100, Browning BLR).

I just picked up some new Varget, (old can ran out!!) some 4064 and a can of BenchMark. I picked up some Nosler 150's and 168's Match that I did not have on hand and some 150 Horn. SST's as well. Added a box of Berger VLD's in 165 also.

Then picked up 2 boxes of BlackHills Match in 175 and 168 Match to put on paper just to see what factory will do. I have some Fed. and Winch. 168 Match at home, left over from work. Will have to get some time to play and see. Thanks for the replys and lets hear the rest.

Depending on bullet weight, I have achieved very good results with IMR4895 in:

30-06
.270
30-30
.243
.300 Savage

Same basic cases except of course the 30-30.

IMR4895 is the most versatile powder on my bench.

I fully expect that this powder would work well in .308 with certain weight bullets as well.
