32 Win Sp lighter bullet head
Why doesn't anyone make a 125 or 150 grain bullet head to reload for the 32 Winchester Special?

Demand.
If you take up casting or swagging your own you can get whatever wts you want. I've a 32Rem and went through the search for bullets too. It seems 321 just isn't popular. W/moulds and sizers for 8mm/323 the whole gamut opens up from 125-275gr bullets. You can get started in a basic kit for about the cost of 3 boxes of decent jacketed bullets. Come to think of it slug your bore for an accurate measurement if its over. 322 inches you could cautiously work up loads for 8mm bullets as is. Using the 7.62-39 as a guide factory ammo comes w/bullets in 308-312 and bores from 308-314. The above does not suggest using just any random 8mm bullet in any random 32 Winchester rifle. Bad things may happen using 323-324 bullets in a pristine 94' w/a .3195 and a full tilt load. You might also look for bullets intended for the early 7.92x57s w/a 318 bore those may be more obscure than correct .321s . |
