Default Precision Bullets

Has anyone ever tried the Precision Bullets? I bought 1K of them in 200grn .45 and they are rather unique looking. No grease groove or crimp ring. They have a rather knurled looking lock ring and that is it. Look like good snake and paper cutters though!!!! Paid $100 for them.

Are you talking of the black bullets made in Texas?

no grease or crimp grooves? are they tumble lubed or moly coated? I've never seen a cast bullet without lubing grooves unless they were for paper patched loads. I would be interested in seeing a picture of one.

No. They don't have any kind of grease or crimp grooves like you would see in a Laser Cast, Bulls-X or Lyman n RCBS molds. I will see what I can do on posting a picture. As I said earlier, it just has a knurled edge like it was made on a lathe. Kinda neat more than an anything else.
