7X30 Waters
Could any of you people tell me where i can buy 7X30 Waters ammo. I have a Thompson Contender super 14 with magna port and i need to find some ammo to shoot through it.

Terry i think Federal is still the only manufacturer offering 7-30 Waters.It is a 120 grain sierra boattail.Midway Usa sells it still for i believe 17.99 a box.Thats pricey,thats why i reload for mine.

It is available from Miday online @ http://www.midwayusa.com/ on a side note did you buy this rifle new or build it? The reason I ask this is becouse iI have been contemplating rebarrelling my Marlin for this round and wanted to know of any problems encountered. There was an excellent artical in this months "Handloader" magazine by Ken Waters where he was testing new powders on his round and it got me thinking about it. Doing what my wife calls "tore it up just so you could fix it again syndrome" |
