Yea, there' s no question the digital is easier to read, but I have more confidence in the beam. I' ve had the PACT drift by almost a full grain by the 20th powder charge weighed and I just can' t put up with that. They say to allow it time to warm up and I' ve always done that, usually at least 30 minutes. I have the Redding mounted at eye level, which makes it easier to see.

Don' t assume that because you have had problems with one digital scale that all digital scales are the same.I have had no problems at all with consistancy with mine and it is much quicker that waiting for the balance beam to settle.

I have been using a Dillon scale for about two years. It is very accurate, I know if I have 70.4 or 70.5, and does not drift. And only have to recalibrate it if you move it. Which takes about a minute.

I also have electric weighing scale which display is equipped with a high precision strain-gauge sensor for accurate measuring.Other step on the scale which will switch on immediately.Electric weighing scale calculates weight in either kilograms, pounds or stones. Weighing scale which will come in very handy if you are on a diet that uses a different measurement unit than the one you are used to.
