who reloads 165 gr accubond and what are your results [ft.xsec.] is it realy better than the 180gr accubond bullet[ftxsec] ...tried the 150 gr. and velocity went up ,accuracy went out the door ..rifle BROWNING 300WSM stainless stalker with boss ..

if ya have a boss, use it...boss is what re-loaders do by time exhausting measurements and hours and hours of pain stakin work, just to get the vibration of the barrel to be in tune...if your accuracy is gone, look on browning and see what they recommend you set your boss to start the tuning process with a particular round....i'd imagine if ya have a boss, then ya know what i mean. if ya use it properly, and take the time to figure it out, you can change bullets with 3 practice shots and be inside 1" groups after that.

Did you adjust the BOSS when testing the 150's? The sweet spot for a 150 is completely different than for the 180. As a matter of fact the sweet spot for a 180 Accubond is way different than the sweet spot for any other 180gr bullet.

for the 180gr accubond my SWEETspot is .1 [took me 25 odd bullets to finalize the sweet spot] tried with the .150gr and did not get good results [yes i tried tunning the muzzlebrake but no dice]
my question was has anybody tried the 165 gr.accubond bullet in the 300wsm cal.????????

Yes, My Browning BAR/BOSS shoots 165gr Accubonds and Partitions very well with Ramshot Hunter. My CZ Model 3 shoots the 165 Accubond to one ragged hole with MRP and well under 1 inch with Hunter.
