Adventures in obsolete cartriges

The 32 Remington.
I got the gun about 5 years ago with a box of empties and a box of reloads and no info. It took me nearly a year to track down any loading info. Then the info came out all over all at once. The 32 Remington is a 32 winchester without a rim . Right on right ? 1 bullet in 321 if you can find them. So I got an 8mm 170grn mould. I figured since Unique worked in my 06' and 308 and Red Dot worked in my 308 it seemed like a good place to start. Well the Red Dot leaded enough to make me say not working ,so I try Unique and spend hours scrubing chunks of lead out. So I messed with lubes lengths sizing etc. I gave up for probabily 2 years looking for bullets. On a whim I loaded 5 with some 4350 and got the Kriol and a brand new brush out.

Wow no lead and only 50fps slower than the starting load for jacketed on 2grn less. If I can get to the starting load for cast I might even get a pump rifle to shot little bitty groups or at least something huntable.

I guess the idea is don't give up if the the chase because it the 1st set up didn't get you close to where you thought you were going.
