if it shoots 1/2 in grps at 200 yds ,its a great shooter. if you see a deer at a 100yds just run back another 100 then fire.

In this debate...keep this one thing in mind.
Depending on the barrel rate of twist, and the bullet size, it IS possible to have a smaller group at 200 yards than 100 yards, BECAUSE, the bullet may not be stabilized yet at 100 yards.

Happens all the time...
