Here is a long lost caliber; a .32 Rem, powder charge anyone?
Friend picked one up, cant find any load data ANYWHERE. He did find a box of ammo on the net...$100. /20 RDS. YIKES...
He likes the unusual collector stuff .:happy0157: dip.. wait till he sees this. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...061&t=11082005 |
Use starting loads for a 32 Winchester Special and you will be fine. The case capacity and pressure limits are identical. You can work up from those.

I dug back into a old reloading book I have and found some 32 Rem data but not sure I know how to interpret it. It lists a 170 gr bullet at 2250fps velocity. The powder loads is what to me is confusing. Maybe it will make sense to you. It lists powders and loads as: 23gr of 4227, 27 gr of 4198, 34*gr of 3031, (*indicates load/s giving max velocities) 36gr of 4064, 37gr of 4320, 38gr of 4350, 19gr of 2400, 34gr of BL-C2, 37gr of 4895, 37 gr of H380, 27gr of Rx 7 . It only gives the 2250 fps max velocity and I guess that is with the 34gr of 3031???????
Not sure if this helps or not. This data came out of the 5th Anniversary De Luxe Edition Handloader's Digest, editor John Amber of The Gun Digest. |
