I am gonna give reloading a try for my winter project (only because I have enough factory ammo for this years hunting season). I am picking up a Lee classic loader for my 270 win, powder choices have been made, along with the bullets I want to shoot. ( IMR4350, IMR 4831, 130 gr. Hornady Interbonds or 130 gr. Berger MVLD's). I have read some threads where guys have used magnum primers over standard with their 270's. What primers would be best suited for my cartridges? THanks to all who respond.

I sure wouldn't use a magnum unless you are shooting H1000 or slower.
I always use fed 210M for 270 and I find IMR4350 to be the do it all powder.

why not pay a few pennys more and use CCI BENCHREST PRIMERS. they will help eliminate flyers in groups. good choices in powders. you don't need a magnum primer in a 270. try 140grn hornady bullets in that 270,i've killed over 150 deer with them.
