Want to start reloading
 

Hi guys, it has been 25 years since I've done any reloading. I had always use a friends reloading equipment. It is time to buy my own. I have a set of scales and that is it. I'm looking for a RCBS press and all the other supplies. Is anyone looking to sell any of there reloading equipment? Or point me in the right direction for the best deals.

Most sporting goods retailers sell a RCBS Rockchucker kit that will have most everything in it that you would ever need minus dies. Now that doesn't mean that there wont be other things that you will "want" in the future though. One of the things that it doesn't include though is a means of sizing your brass. So you will want to research ways of doing that. Lee makes a pretty inexpensive sizing chuck and cutter that can get you by for awhile.

If you have a Bass Pro shop around they have a pretty good deal. $299.99 for a starter kit. I bought a few other things to go with it, but it is set up ready to go. I bought a Lyman, but they had others. I bought this one because it is a turret press. I did not want to keep moving dies in and out, but rather have my 3 most typical cals loaded and accessable with just a turn of the turret. The only thing I did not like is the powder drop has a small tube. It allows me to load roughly 100 223 with one fill. I would rather have a larger one and will probably buy one soon. But check into those and see if you can get a good deal. Good luck, wife will never see you after this.
