12 ga load?
 
i have a bunch of once fired rem target load hauls,can i reload these?they are the black hauls that come loaded with 8 shot,they have a silver head and very low brass?

Just get the correct recipe for them and don't try to substitute components . High or low base has nothing to do with it some cases have no base at all.

what do you mean about some have no bases at all?and also do you know where i could get a recipe for these hauls?and one more question,being that the brass part of these hauls are silver looking,are they allumnium do you think or brass ,,and if allumnium does that matter,thanks alot ,chuckell

You can reload most anything but it's critical you use load data specifically for that case.Any substitutions of all components can cause excessive/dangerous pressure.The surest way to check any case is to saw it in half and compare it to those shown in the manual.Some hulls look exactly alike on the outside but differ inside.Good luck!

Just about any manual on shotgun reloading should answer your questions you can find them in most sporting goods stores or most places that sell reloading supplies . Lymann makes a good one to start with .

I have several books but the Lyman is the best Ive seen.I also have a bunch of old black Rem hulls with both high and low brass.Actually it looks more like copper.Though only once fired and in great shape these are over 20yrs old and they no longer make the primers for them so I have to just throw them out.To bad since Ive got 275 of them ARGHHHH![:@]

was curious ,what kind of primer did those shells take?wonder if the new ones can be primed?i bought a load book when i was at cabela's a while back,i found it today and looked up target load halls,there's a ton of recipes,so i'm getting my right knee replaCED this fri. so won't be reloading for a while,hey thanks alot for your info appreciate it,chuckell ,i saw the box on gaft and son,and these are rem gun club target loads is what they are actually called,
