how can you tell if the powders are a different lot #.

Lot numbers are stenciled on the top or bottom of the can, or on the label.......

Not trying to steal the thread ,But do you guy's think the characteristics change from lots to lots?

For sopme powders, there have been significant changes between different lots. For others, not much if any. IMR 4350 has always proven faithful for me. But Norma N205 was one that was quite doifferent (up to two grains difference) in max loads between lots of powder. So have some of the Alliant Reloader (RL) types.
