Find someone at your local gun club that reloads and is willing to let you load some brass on his equipment, then it will be much easier to understand what you need/want.

The best place to start is with a book on reloading.

Iwould either get a lee or rcbs reloading kit. lee if your looking to save some cash or rcbs if you want what you would probably end up buying after a few years.
