Default .300 H&H Supplies?

I have been trying to find where I can order some .300H&H Supplies for reloading. I haven't done any reloading, but my dad has the RCBS dies for the .300 H&H, and I was planning on buying a rock chucker kit.

I have been saving my cases from the boxes I have shot out of the gun (I have around 120 casings), but at >60 bucks a box it is getting a little rediculous with the inconsistent factory loads that are available around here.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Well if you already have the dies, cases and have your press picked outall you need is primers, powder, and bullets. Check out midway usa they usually have good prices.

As was mentioned if you have the brass and dies the rest is pretty easy to round up. Be sure to save every piece of brass you have for the H&H as it can be difficult if not impossible to find. It would not be easy to make from anything else either.
You have to decide what you plan to shoot with the rifle and then buy the bullets suited for that. If you father loads then he probably already knows that you need a loading manual, correct powder and primers

Infrequently, i load up some 300 H&H ammo for my Winchester model 70. Best powder i have found is IMR 4831. It works very well with 150, 165 and 180grain bullets.

Huntingtons has 300 H@H brass. Midway has some. It can be made from 375 H@H in a pinch.
If you already have that much brass on hand get the other components and the rest of the gear and go for it.
By the way I shoot 300H@H.

buck slayer, i load for the 300 H&H myself. what make is your rifle? i have a remington 721. oldie but goody. cabelas should have brass for the H&H. thats where i got my last bunch. i load 66.5 grains of 4350 powder and use hornady 165 gr. bullets. good load for my rifle. keep an eye on the brass if you load your ammo on the hot side. necks tend to split. also watch for weakening around the belt at the bottom of the case. ive had some cases pull apart from being reloaded too many times. brass wears down and becomes thin in this area. good luck.

I have my Dad's 721 in 300 H@H. I really enjoy that gun and Cartridge.
It just has that look like something very evil is gonna come out of that tube.

You could also make cases from 7mm STW, 8mm Rem Mag and 416 Rem Mag.
