5 Shot Group Measurement

I' ve been working up a load for my 25.06 and have found a good load for my rifle. The last 5 shot group i shot put 3 in the same hole with 1 a 1/4" below those 3 and 1 a 1/4" to the left of those 3 :D. This may be a dumb question but from what points do you measure a 5 shot group? Thank You!

Groups should be measured at the furthest distance between shots...[:-]

RE: 5 Shot Group Measurement

There are a bunch of complicated ways to do it.
The easy way is to measure from the middle of the bullet hole on the two shots that are the farthest from each other. (widest part of the group)
