Crimp or not for '06 in a pump 7600????
I'm fixing to start loading for my remington model 7600 pump in 30-06. I was wondering if I should crimp or don't worry about it?

I would. every time you shoot, the recoil will push the bullets out of the cases in the magazine. If They were loose enough they could push up against the nagazine and not feed.

I load for a 7400 in 30-06 never crimp . never had any bullets set back.

I don't crimp on the rounds for my 7600 in 35 Whelen which is a bit more stout in recoil than the 06. If you start to see bullets being pushed back in the case then crimp. I don't think you'll need to though.

I have been loading for pump 30-06's for over thirty years. I have never crimped a shell. Tom.

No, never had a problem...however, you might want to invest in a small base die..they really make working the pump slick and I've never had a jam or problem..good little investment.
