RE: bullet for 22-250
When I was loading for a 22-250 the 55 grain Hornady SX was a mean lil' sucker....despite not being rated for the speed.

RE: bullet for 22-250
I really like the 50 gr Hornady sxsp for my 223. What is the intended purpose for these bullets. Varminting, punching holes in paper, practice. etc. ? If you looking for match grade accuracy your not going to see it with either of the two. For varmint hunting the 55 gr ballistic tip, Vmax or TNT would be a much better choice.

RE: bullet for 22-250
I know I won't get matchrade accuracy results with these. just looking for a well priced bullet for practice shooting and some varmiting.....Vmax box of 250 is $37 which was on my list already

RE: bullet for 22-250
V Max's sooooo rock...............

RE: bullet for 22-250
Mine prefers sierra blitzkings, go figure....

RE: bullet for 22-250
For practice and punching holes in paper either will do the trick. Like I said though for the varmint I'd stick with the vmax or ballistic tip. Every gun is different, my 223 AI puts the 50 gr vmax and 50 gr ballistic tip to the same point of impact out to 200 yds then the vmax stays a little tighter. Terminal performance on groundhogs are just pure devastation.
