Managed-Recoil ??'s

I know this fprumis for reloading, but what do you all think or hear about Remington's "Managed-Recoil " ammo?

In particular, the .300 Win Mag?

Just "to the point" responses please . . . no preaching.

These are carefully developed loads meant to retain accuracy while safely and significantly reducing the recoil through the only means physics allows - lighter bullet weights and lower velocity.

DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO DO WHAT THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED TO DO. These loads will not give you a 300WM that hits like a 300WM but recoils like a 30-06. They will give you a 300WM that performs more like a 30-06 and recoils more like a 30-06.

If you already have a 300WM and the recoil is too much, these are a good way to get back to shooting your gun without a flinch. But if you're buying a new gun, get a 30-06 to begin with.

They're fine for what they are intended for, but go in with realistic expectations.

Let's see posted in guns, firearm review and reloading forums. Don't you think people visit all three forums especially with them being situated one right next to the others? Don't people read the forum rules any more, don't the moderators do their job and enforce the forum rules about making the same exact post in multiple forums. This is getting old. If I were to start flaming people they'd be on me like flies in the hot summer sun.

That's it Jersey boy? Thanks for not preaching. You can't imagine my reasoning for posting in 3 places?

To a guy who has handloaded his own ammo for 35 plus years the concept of managed recoil is old news. Remington and now others make it sound like a new revelation....handloaders have been making reduced recoil loads for over 100 years. yawn
