any one have any load data for IMR 4831 in the 7mm-08 using hornady 139 SP bullet?
I have a pound sitting for some time I like to try .

IMr4831 is goin to be way too slow burning. I shoot 4350 in a 7mm-08 and its compressed to the max. Good news about using 4831 is you are never going to hit high pressure because its goin to be way compressed before you ever hit pressure signs. In other words, very wrong powder for this caliber. But with all that said, if you told me 4350 was a good powder for the 7mm08, I would have told you were crazy. Then one day about 3 years ago, I ran out of varget and 4064 and tried it for the hey of it, and its an awesome powder.Not the fastest in the world, but seems very accurate.

bigcountry: I use 4350 in my 30-06 and it is a excellent powder with the 165 grain Hornady SP bullet :I shoot on the download side since I shoot just touching the rifle lands I think the charge I use is 50.0 grains just off the top of my head.
I also for years loaded IMR 3031 45.0 grains in the 06 another outstanding powder for me;like you I ran out of 3031 and tried the 4350 which is outstanding
