Just buy some Sellier&Belliot ammo, it' s brass is reloadable.;)

I have used water to hydraulically pop out Berdan primers. I tried to drill out some, but you can easily damage the anvil, then the new primers might not fire!! I had some excellent Swedish 6.5X55 ammo with Berdan primers, and decided the brass was too good to scrap. RCBS does sell a Berdan primer remover now, and decapping should be a lot easier than it once was. If you love to spend time in the loading room, which I do, then using Berdan primers isd no big deal!!

I agree with Big Ed... buy some Sellier and Bellot... I personally can' t see trying to mess with, or modify berdan primed brass, unless it is for some cartridge you just can' t find brass for..... or if you just like " tinkering" with stuff. It' s too labor and time intensive for me... I' d buy Norma before trying to modify....
