RE: Reloading 30-06 shells.

head to the library and check out some books on the subject. I liked the Metallic Cartridge Handloading book. Much information is available from the powder and bullet manufacturer web sites.

I started with the Lee Anniversary kit because I did not want to drop more money into it before I knew if I would keep up with the hobby. I started last fall and still enjoy it, wish I could shoot more to require more loading(about 400 rounds so far)!! The Lee stuff is working fine and I am not looking to replace it yet. The RCBS rockchucker press is nice and if my Lee breaks due to excessive use, I will get one of those and all I lost was about 30 bucks.

For me, the " study" and load development is what makes it enjoyable, and the lower cost per shooting day lets you justify the entertainment to the wife much easier than a 70 dollar round of golf.
