45/70 Reloading Problem?

I just started loading for my 45/70 Guide Gun and I put the first 10 cases through the sizing die and they came out with little indentations all the way around the case about a 1/4 of the way down. Im not new to reloading and I have never seen this before anyone have any ideas?

Jahwohl, mein Herr!! Too much sizing lube! It looks bad, but does not hurt anything.

Thanks guys, that makes sense! Amazing how something so simple had me scratching my head for so damn long.

Prarie Boy - do yourself a favor. Clean out your siziing die and get all that nasty lube out of it. Go get yourself some Hornady One-Shot case lube. Follow the directions on the label and start resizing. This stuff is great. Not messy and works fine. The only thing I've found is that when you spray it on your cases (lightly), I spray at about a 45 degree angle to get inside the case mouths - both sides. Then I wait a few mins. until it dries before sizing.
