So Johnny, it sounds like you are turning yourshells out of brass stock which I can understand doing to get the sastisfaction of making them yourself but I would certainly look at the Magtech brass shot shells that are available. I am sure trimming them to your length would'nt be a problem. They use a large pistol primer.

federal plastic hulls cut to fit.My chamber is only 2 5/8 inch
Well, that may be why they use 209's when anything else uses rifle/pistol primers...

Double A I check ed the site but did not see any 10gauge brass??

My appologies,I was refering to 12 ga brass. I missed the 10 ga in your post.
