i plan on putting in an order to brownell'sfor some jb compound in the next day or two. do i need anything special to apply it? do you use a jag or brush with it or do i need to order a special tool to use it?

BTW, I prefer a mixture of Shooters Choice and Kroil (75/25) or MPro-7 (same as Hoppes Elite) for powder fouling. Let either soak for about an hour then use a good bronze brush followed by some more wet patches. For copper fouling I've found nothing works as well as Montana Extreme 50BMG (I've used just about everything else out there including Sweets, CR-10, KG12, etc, etc, etc...). If I have more time I'll use Wipeout, letting it soak all night.
