Do you have access to a set of feeler gauges??? If so you need to measure the distance between the back of the barrel and the breech face of the action. Just keep closing the action on the feeler gauges until you can not pull the feeler gauge out of the action when you close the action. Subtract .001 and that is your GAP.

All Encore's have this gap. Some are wider than other's, but they still have it. The trick to getting the Encore to shoot is to understand this gap, and the bumping(or sizing) of the shoulder.

An Encore is no more difficult to load for than a bolt action. It is just different. you need to understand the differences. Once you understand these differences your problems wil go away.

You have obviously spent a lot of money on your equipment, so why would you inject so many variables into your reloads. Start with consistent, fresh brass, and measure your cases before and after shooting. Adjust your die appropriately and your problems will go away. Tom.
