All the manufactures I' m aware of make quality equipment. I have some of all of it. Single stage press - my tip is don' t let anybody steer you away from Lee due to a lack cost or related quality. Lee is quality. If you are reloading for pleasure, hunting or even just to save a buck a Lee kit for about $65 will do everything you need and do it for ever.

Crashman,
I started with Lee products and still have some of them - I have replaced every Lee product that I have purchased and destroyed some of their products trying to do work that would be " normal" for the RCBS Rockchucker. Lee products are fine for sizing straight wall cases, and their " O" presses are ok for working bottle-neck cases for " normal" reloading. For magnum cases, forming cases and volume work they are just too light. You can save some money initially but if you are going to be reloading for 30 plus years, like I have, you will be better off getting quality equipment the first time.

I' d go with a RCBS master kit. It should have about every thing you need,to get started, including a manual. I got one 20+ yr ago added a few trinket items, but every thing else is the same. RCBS warrenty is also good as gold. I bought a used 7x57 die set at a auction, found out the die was bad sent them a e-mail. They told me to mail the die to them, in about a wk. a new die set came in the mail, then a week later one more showed up at no cost. Zeak

I must agree with the majority on this. The RCBS is the way to go. Beside the old hand me down Bair, sits 12 years worth of RCBS equipment on my bench. And I love it. Good Luck
