Who made this primer tool??
 

I picked up this primer tool at a yard sale years ago, it has not brand markings on it at all. The length is just shy of 3.5", the shell holder screws off. It is such a nice working tool, has the greatest feel and is easy to sqeeze. But it came with only one shell holder for 06 cases. Would like to find some more shell holders for it.

It looks like it could be one of the ones from a Lee Load All Kit. This is just a guess. They made a kit called the Target Kit. Just a guess?? Tom.

It is a Lee LoaderPrimer Tool... It is a really old one but you can still order shell holder for it.

The new one is called an Auto Prime - I have both tools but I do use the newer tool more...

It's a Lee. I've used and worn out half a dozen of them. The body of the tool is some sort of cast material and not steel...as a result they wear out after a few K of primers. But I always liked using them even if they are slow. You have such perfect feel and control of seating depth. Now I use the RCBS priming press...which isn't any faster the way I use it, but it has pretty good feel and will never wear out.

I feel the same way about the Lyman 310 tool's "priming chamber". I have one for the '06 size case head, with which you can prime any case of similar diameter, one for .45/70 size cases, and one for the .45 Colt size which works with any round derived from the .45 Colt. I can even prime 7.62X54R cases with the .45/70 chamber.
