what's the mark on my primer after firinig?
I figured you guys could help me here. I just got finished shooting my glock 27 and picked up a case and look at the primer. It had the indention in the center where the firing pin hit the primer, but around the circled indention there was a rectangle? Is this normal or is something wrong?

RE: what's the mark on my primer after firinig?
look at the face of the slide to see what your firing pin looks like.
Is the gun firing properly?
Any jams?
Any missfires?
If not, I wouldn't worry about it.
You just know that if you ever use your glock to off someone that you will have a unique mark on the fired cases...may want to pick those up J/K
