RE: 257 roberts/imr 4350?
42.0gr of 4350 works well for me Tried 4064 and didn't have much luck getting good accuracy
I prefer RL 19. Shoots 110 Accbonds extremely accuracte |
RE: 257 roberts/imr 4350?
There use to be a sticky that covered situations like this. Its gone now so I'll say it,You need to work up your own loads. If someone states a particular load you should always check your reloading manuals and see where it falls. If its anywhere near the Max you should start at your manuals beginning load and work up carefully.
A load that shows no signs of excessive pressure in one rifle may very well be dangerous in yours. |
RE: 257 roberts/imr 4350?
The very best and most accurate powder I have ever used in my
old Rem. 257 Roberts was IMR 4320...I can't remember what the loads were now,but that stuff worked with every bullet I tried.. Killed a lot of deer with that old rifle..Reading you post brought back memories..Wish I still had it.That was 30 years ago... Good luck with your and be safe---Happy Holidays |
