RE: depriming live primers

I deprime them just like shot primers. Never had a problem yet.

the cases they are in stick in my gun, I would have another problem then. I am tired of having problems with this one gun, to date, I needed to refloat the barrel, I need to replace the scope base and rings, had a stuck shell in it last year I bent 4 cleaning rods getting it out, and I am getting a new scope for it.

this is a small problem, nothing to do realy with the gun.

dont try to deprime them live. as for the water thing, the guy that tought me how to reload told me to shoot some wd-40 in the cases and let them sit for awhile. there is a slight chance that the water wont soak all the fulminate good enough to render the primers inert. and if there is any doubt, chuck the cases and buy new. better safe than sorry.

Problem with WD-40 is cleaning the case after requires soap and water inside and outseveral times to get it all. Better to stay away from it.
