So what do you 243 shooters feel is a good deer bullet?
I was thinking of the 90 grain ?? Nosler Ballistic Tip..
And then later on a bullet for the varmits...Thanks
I would use either the 95 or the 100-grain Nosler Partition bullet for deer from the .243 Win or 6mm Remington.

The sierra 85 gr gameking works best.

I'm going to use the 95gr or 105gr Berger VLD's in my .243 AI for deer, when the rifle is finished.

Just got a Remington 700 SPS in .243. I brought 2 boxes of Remington 100 gn PSPfor the brass. Thanks for the tips on bullets because I reload for all my other rifles.

85 grain sierra BTHP,100 grain hornady BTSP have always been my go to projectiles in 6mm with just about equal results. Both are devastating rounds.

Long before the "premium" bullets came out I shot a bunch of deer with the .243 using Hornady's 100 gr interlock bullet over 40.5 gr of IMR4350. I never lost a deer with this bullet/load. And as I recall, only 2 needed a second shot. The others dropped where they stood.

Ihave afriend who deer hunts with a .243, heloadsthe Sierra 100gr Prohunterand he loves that bullet. It's very accurate in his rifle and he claims he's never lost a deer using it. If ihunted with a .243 i agree witheldeguello, i'd shoot the 100gr Partition.
