RE: reloading 22-250
I can't remember exactly but I think I use 36 grains of IMR 4064 with the 55 grain Honady AMAX

RE: reloading 22-250
I wish I could. After trying about 10 different loads, I still couldn't get better groups than factory Hornady Varmint Express 55gr. 1/4" 5 shot(one hole) groups at 100yds. I don't shoot it a whole lot(mostly groundhog hunting a few times a year), so I just bought about 10 boxes of that ammo on sale. Should last me quite a while. Can't complain about how they shoot <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

RE: reloading 22-250
I loaded the Hornady 60 grain SP with 34.0 grains Varget. Very good load Chrographed, 3445. 3456,3445,3460 and 3474. I was trying for about 3500 fps. I am trying to extend the barrel life as I really like the rifle. A 700 ADL synthetic 24 inch barrel. I am sold on Varget for the 22-250..

RE: reloading 22-250
The load I have been using for several years now and see no need to change is 35 grains Varget under a Nosler 55 gr. Ballistic Tip at 3635 fps. These loads are capable of sub 1/2" groups from a factory varmint rifle if I can do my part.

RE: reloading 22-250
36.5 grains of 4064, 55gr remingtion SP. This load shoots the best groups in my Encore, Ruger and Sako. Even beat out some high priced match grade bullets for accuracy.
