Are A-Max 6.5 bullets good for deer too?
 

I wasn't sure but my gut says no but I really don't know.

According to the "Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading Fifth Edition" A-Max Bullets are generally for match shooting. This bullet is also excellent for hunting thin-skinned game. Good luck.

The only thing you should shoot with an A-Max is paper.

handloader1, thin skinned game like deer? Coyotes are going to die from them no matter what usually.

Yes....absolutely, positively....the A-max kills deer dead.....

It wouldn't be my first choice.....but they certainly work.....I've used trap loads for pheasants with great success too.....not my first choice.....but you can't argue with success!!!
