Primer sealant

How do you use this stuff??? Do you brush it over the primer after you have loaded the round or do you put it in the primer pocket before you put in the primer???

after you load it..just use finger nail polish if your that worried about moisture..one tiny little drop will seal it.

Frank's right....alittle dap of the wife's nail poish over the primer of a loaded round should do the trick quite well. I would advise you to use clear plish, as some of the red shades may get you questioned by the guys.

I thought about using that... But thought that maybe it may flake off and somehow get in my action...

I never found that stuff to be necessary. I'm still shootingammo I loaded in the early 1970's when I lived in Indianapolis, IN, and that stuff has been dragged to Virginia, Texas, New York, and now PA during those years. NONE of my handloads has ever misfired-not since I learned that you DON"T OIL primers, and I figured that out in 1955.......

Eldeguello is right..............although you CAN use something such as nailpolish to coat over and "seal" it, I too, have never found it necessary, and also have handloaded ammo around that has set since the early '70's and I have no question in my mind that it will perform perfectly when needed.

After loading drop them into a pail of Thompsons water seal and leave them overnight. They repelwaterreal good. Can't get them to fire though!:D:Dkidding, I have thousands of rounds loaded. Addicted to loading plus getting ready for the big one! Never sealed any andmy real old ones fire fine.

The primer sealent definetly works way better than the finger nail polish;)

I'll just be using it for my hunting loads:)
