I even commented that any one could look up the information by doing a simple search and I felt I was bascily booed down.
So I bring this one up due to the lack of information for those that like these antique threads. For any one else who wants to get into reloading.

So I guess from what I am seeing people like these old threads to be brought back up.

It is about like what rifle should I buy. There are a bunch of those here too. May be we could go thru all the old threads and get all the what rifle should I buy in a huge group for those who find those types of threads informative. then make stickys for each one.

I don't know how you can say that because as you can see from the responses here EVERYONE posting here doesn't want them brought back up!

then why post on every old revived thread?

How can you say this thread has no useful information?
Only 2 people posted and one was deleted there was still a little information.

I agree with what RR said why do you all post on old threads that are brought up if you don't like them?

My thought to RR's legitimate question - why respond to cast scorn on those who necropost?

As a guy who also has a gross disdain for necroposting...

If my dog pisses on the floor, I'm prone to let him know I don't approve, every time.

If my son tries to stick his finger in an electrical outlet, I'm prone to let him know I don't approve, every time.

If someone drives too fast down the lane road beside our church playground during Sunday school, I'm prone to let them know I don't approve, every time.

If someone necroposts...

I agree. I think threads that haven't had a new post in 5 years should be made read-only and dropped in an archive or something. If its relevant and has value, it should either have been made a sticky or still be somewhat active. On other forums, I've seen some humorous threads that get an annual bump for kicks and giggles, and I'm OK with that. Dragging up a fossil that literally has no real content in it at all is just silly, and I'm not sure I get the point that's trying to be made by it.

Very simple! It's because it had no value at all with only one post listing a few pieces of equipment and one that was deleted, LOL! Read what NoMercy stated and multiply it by 2, LOL! Old threads are just that and the one you revived was 15 years old and the OP hasn't been on the site in well over a decade. Your post didn't say a thing in it that was useful when you brought it up, so please don't do it any more, as the newbies are bad enough when they do it!
