.270 Federal Bullets
Just curious as to what kind of ballistics yall are getting with the bullets you're using. Feel free to share reloaded and factory bullets of all calibers.
This is what I'm getting with .270 130 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip Vital Shoks.
Velocity (fps)
Muzzle: 3060
@ 100 yds: 2840
@ 200 yds: 2630
@ 300 yds: 2420
@ 400 yds: 2230
Energy (ft-lbs)
Muzzle: 2705
@ 100 yds: 2325
@ 200 yds: 1990
@ 300 yds: 1695
@ 400 yds: 1435
Sighted in at 100 yds, (I hope I'm saying this right), the bullet drops to-2.9 inches at 200 yds, and drops to -10.7 at 300 yds.
