load data for Reloader 7 in .223 loads?
out of all my load books I can only find data for 45 grain and lighter bullets when loading with RL7 in the .223 I am curious who might offer data for 50 to 55 grain bullets?? I was givin an 8lbs keg of RL7 and really have nothing to use it in other than .223 and I use nothing lighter than a 50 grain bullet. thanks in advance guys

RE: load data for Reloader 7 in .223 loads?
If you have a savage muzzleloader it works good in it.
I have a 45th edition of lyman reloading that has loads for 50,52,55 and 63 gr bullets. But it is listed as RX 7.This is out of a 1970 copyright,so if these will work for you I will be happy to copy and post what lyman has. I have a older can that was made here in the us dated 97 but since it is made in sweden now I don't know if there is a differance in it now or not.Probably is different from lot to lot anyway. |

herman,
if ya could post the data that would be awesome!! it would actually be perfect because the keg is new/unopenned but the manufacture date is 1969. I openned it up and the stuff smells fresh so I do plan to use it. I dont know if there is a difference in the old and the new stuff but your data from the 70's should work great if there is a difference. |

Don't waste that powder on a .223. That there is real good 45-70 fodder. Tom.

unfortunately I dont have my 45-70 anymore. and as old as the stuff is Id like to use it up quickly. so it will have to be used in .223 and 7.62x39 for now. I however am gonna be getting another 45-70 and im sure I will still have some of this powder then. |
